1902 - FIRE BURNED OUT AN AGED COUPLE.
Shortly after 1 o'clock this morning a fire alarm from box 48 called the department to 230 West Vermijo street where a fire was destroying the personal effects of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Martin, an aged couple.

1902 - MRS. TAYLOR BRUISED IN CAR COLLISION
Another collision between a street car and a Santa Fe train occurred at the Pike's Peak avenue crossing last night shortly before 9 o'clock.

Fire broke out in the Lock Haven hospital at 12:45 o’clock last Tuesday afternoon and in less than an hour the entire building was in ashes. All of the patients were taken out in safety.
