A terrible accident took place in the grain and flour mill of Allis Packard at Brockton, Mass., on the 5th inst., in which A. A. NOURSE, DENNIS LYNCH and DENNIS REARDON lost their lives by suffocation.

1904 Theophile Cornnors Injures One Foot While Chopping in Wood Lot.
ESSEX JUNCTION. Theophile Cornnors, who is in the employ of the Drury Brick & Tile Co., while chopping in the company's wood lot Monday injured his right foot badly. The axe struck his foot, splitting it about two inches toward the instep. Dr. C. M. Ferrin was called and dressed the wound and it is expected that the foot can be saved.

1904 Peculiar Accident
Ruby Seaver, little daughter of E. K. Seaver, of Morrisville, burned one arm badly in a peculiar manner recently. Suffering from a pain in the arm, she placed an electric bulb against the member under the bed clothing. So much heat generated from the lamp that her clothing caught fire and her arm was scorched considerably.

New Britain, Conn., Dec. 13 - The Main street grade crossing, where several deaths have occurred, was the scene of another fatality last evening when John Stefanik, the driver of a delivery team, was instantly killed by the cars. Stefanik's body was cut in two. He was 32 years old.
