1891 Furniture store robbery
The furniture store of A. R. Martin at Chicopee Falls was entered last night by burglars, who gained entrance by smashing a rear window. Vittel Anse, a Frenchman, discovered the intruders as they were leaving the store. He raised an alarm and pursued them. One of the burglars ran into a barbed wire fence, and before he was able to free himself Aldreman Morton of the new City Government came along and nabbed him.

1891 First Armenian Church in the United States
The first Armenian church in the United States was dedicated with impressive ceremonies at Worcester yesterday. Rev. H. V. Sarajian, who was in charge of the Armenian church there, officated in a black cassock with purple sleeves lined with purple, and over it a flowing robe of rich purple damask secured by a silver clasp. The services were conducted entirely in the Armenian language.

1914 Fire in Thompson
The home of Henry Korch near Wilsonville in the town of Thompson was destroyed by fire that broke out about 6 o'clock Sunday morning driving the family out into the cold. Korch has a wife and three children. Korch's home is situated in a farming community so there was not apparatus to fight the fire. The lost is said to be about $1,060.
